Letter from Sam And Julia on our first day of production

It’s a bit surreal writing this letter now, one day away from beginning production on Pocket Dream.

This film has been with us for a long time. We set out to write a modern tragedy, about going after your ambitions amidst the crumbling fantasy of the American dream.

 

And now, we are here today because of the efforts of our collaborators who have fought to make this film a reality.

 

For over year we watched it slowly grow from that initial group to now all of you. Every step closer to this day has only been achieved because of the tireless dediation and hardwork of everyone involved. We can’t wait to make this film, but more importantly we can’t wait to make it with YOU. Everyone on this beautiful cast and crew is so talented and the skill/vision you will bring to this film is what is going to make it truly special.

 

We are thrilled you are joining us on this (Pocket) Dream.
